A friend once told me that your true character is revealed when you are alone. It was not until the day I poured my heart out to Him that I realized that I love who I am when no one is around. It is only during this time that the universe never fails to make me realize how my flaws were wonderfully stitched to create the loving and forgiving person within me. I always fear living and beginning alone but then as I grow in faith I have come to terms with the difference among independence, loneliness and solitude; and from all these things I learned that I am always in my happiest in moments of solitude.
“Follow your heart, don’t let your mind limit you. The world that you will create will be as big as the limit you set for yourself. So do not put limits, just go. Of course there will be disappointments along the way, but at least you have tried and there will be no “what ifs” in the end. That’s the difference between the loser and the quitter. The loser experienced it even though not getting the prize, but he or she knows what to improve in his or herself. But the quitter never experienced a thing at all and would never grow.” (Andy Simeon)
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

I know that you think that you messed up your life because you opened up your heart, but maybe you helped her open up her heart in the process. Maybe because you loved her, she’s learned how to love too.

And I feel like if I can just convince you to let me keep doing that, I’m gonna be okay. Everything’s gonna be okay. :)
